Handsome Groom (in post-production)
Our main Character is HAMADA (almost 40s) an un-accomplished actor. Hamada is single, the eldest son in the family. He has two married sisters (with kids) and a younger brother who's about to get married. So, Hamada is the only one that lives in the village, in the same family house, and in his same childhood room and bed.
The father is a well-respected retired high school principal, and his mother is a house wife.
Hamada studied theater and acting in Haifa. He was a popular party animal, surrounded many Jewish and Arab friends, a few girlfriends. All was great until he realized that he could not afford it anymore. He had a leading role in an arthouse and his career is on hold, waiting for the release of the film to bring recognition in his talent. But that never happens, and he's stuck. The only choice he is left with is to go back to his parents in the village. He thought this would be a temporary solution until his career picks up again… soon… and that was 10 years ago.
