Good Morning Gaza (in post-production)
Or Brandes, a reserve tank driver in Gaza, creates an improvised podcast over the military radio network for fellow soldiers. A psychology student in civilian life, he turns the radio into an unexpected space for heartfelt conversation.
Three days before he is killed in combat, Or speaks with his cousin, the film’s director, sharing stories from the people who passed through the podcast.
From candid conversations about fear, denial, and revenge to jokes and pranks, soldiers open up with striking honesty. Through these recordings, alongside intimate footage of reservists inside Gaza, the film reveals a portrait of fighters searching for ways to hold on to their humanity in the midst of war.
