Wassim Razzouk, the sole heir of 500-year lineage of Coptic Christian tattoo artists that has been tattooing pilgrims in the old city of Jerusalem sets out to complete his collection of ancient wooden stencils before they are lost forever. In his quest he reveals some dark secrets that have been hidden in the family which leads to an unsolved murder.
